I love the idea of giving the animators a "challenge" and setting limits. I can really see how each person can think and create under pressure from this collaboration.
Surprisingly a LOT of people for one flash submission. Although some were spectacular (especially the one where a person's face was being drawn), most of them, sadly, just seemed too similar - such as, a loop/repeat of a person walking or dancing or some other action. I would have loved to see what other creativity was in store.
This game is absolutely incredible. The detail, the gameplay, the similarity to the 64 game, almost everything about it is flawless.
There's only one I have to point out. Sure, it's fun, but DAMN is it HARD! I haven't died so many times in the 64 version! To all who have not played this yet, and are reading this, you really have to buckle down and get your video game senses kicking you in the ass. It's not at all easy.

Greatest Game I've Ever Played On Newgrounds.
